Traditional Crepes

This recipe makes delicious dairy-free crepes that you can make savoury by adding toppings such as meat and vegetables but, you can make this recipe sweet by adding fruit, Nutella, whipping cream and icing sugar. This recipe is simple, you can make it for yourself, your friends and family as breakfast or just a snack. These crepes are filling and worth the time. Tip: If you get multiple pan cooking at the same time you can make a bunch of crepes in less time. Just be careful that you don't burn them! Recipe:


Makes about 25 crepes

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Total Time: 1 hour and 15 minutes


Ingredients:

- 3 cups white flour

- 3 cups almond milk

- 2 cups water

- 1 1/2 tsp salt

- 3 eggs

- avocado oil (canola and olive oil will work too)


Instructions:

1. Start by adding your flour and salt into a large mixing bowl, whisk until combined.

2. Add your eggs to the flour and salt again whisk to combine.

3. Slowly add almond milk to the bowl, using an electric mixer mix until all the liquid is combined, ensure all the almond milk is mixed into the batter before adding more milk.

4. Add the water to the batter using the electric mixer, mix until there aren't any clumps in your batter.

5. Preheat a pan, use a splash of oil to ensure the crepes won't stick to the pan.

6. Using a 1/3 cup measure place enough batter into the pan that when you swirl the pan the batter covers the entire base of the pan, remember crepes should be very thin.

7. Brown the crepes on both sides by cooking about 1-2 minutes each side.
